Michael Sherwood
FREE IN THE SPIRIT ROOM:
Michael Sherwood started playing music in 2010 in his hometown of Big Lake, Minnesota as a kid. Most of his inspiration comes from 70s and 80s rock and roll and has incorporated other sounds throughout the years. His range as an artist goes from rap to pop, with majority of his favorite work being rock and alternative rock.

Tim Case
FREE IN THE SPIRIT ROOM:
Tim Case is a singer-songwriter from Eau Claire, Wisconsin. Blending folk, country, and Americana influences, his original songs combine inventive acoustic guitar compositions with lyrics that explore heavy topics with a light touch. He performs frequently around the Chippewa Valley, both solo and as a duo with Rock Creek Song Dogs banjo player Jake Soha.
Scott Keever

Isaiah May
FREE IN THE SPIRIT ROOM:
Isaiah May is a music producer, singer-songwriter, and violinist from Dunn County Wisconsin currently living in Boston Massachusetts. He has appeared as a session musician on many records by other artists, and currently plays violin in Reese Nobile's band. Isaiah has played in many orchestras including most recently 'The Berklee Motion Picture Orchestra'. Isaiah has released an original album entitled "East Coast Island Postcard" in the summer of 2022.

Scott Keever is an award-winning fingerstyle guitarist from Minneapolis, MN who combines an American roots sound with styles as far ranging as Celtic, Balkan and jazz. His original music represents his own fascination with the world around us and the different sounds that each musical style creates. Whether he’s performing his own music or a wide range of cover tunes, it’s always captivating and always unique.

Take2Day Duo is the musical collaboration of chanteuse Barbara Lyon and pianist-composer Patrick Pesek-Herriges. The duo’s eclectic playlist includes jazz repertoire, Patrick’s jazz-based originals, and “standards”— both the old and the “new standards” drawn from pop and rock.

Ken Waldman in the Spirit Room

Alaskan Fiddling Poet, Ken Waldman brings a roots music celebration and a special book release show to The Spirit Room. Ken Waldman's 20 books include 16 full-length poetry collections. His 12 CDs combine Appalachian-style string-band music with original poetry. He promises an evening full of fun, inspiration, and surprises—it's also the perfect show for anyone who loves old time fiddling or the state of Alaska. He's celebrating the release of the North American edition of his novel, Now Entering Alaska Time.

Mythical Strings is a harp, cello, and piano trio from the Chippewa Valley. Their euphonious blend offers eclectic instrumentals from classic, modern, and cinema music genres.

Garden Party is a trio who met as members of the Ukulele Club of Eau Claire. Folk, Pop, Americana. Guitar, Ukulele and Upright Bass. Sweet Harmony.
Members include Teresa Jolivette, Marjorie Craemer and Tom Lockhart.

Hailing from the pines of Northern Wisconsin, Nick began playing guitar at 15. From early on, his songs have shown a connection to the blues, soul, and rock n’ roll. Now, with more than 20 years of experience, Nick continues to work as a guitar for hire, but spends most of his time getting his own music heard.

Blue Sky
Blue Sky is an acoustic trio offering mellow, easy listening three part harmonies on ballads and uptempo selections. We select from bluegrass, country and classic tunes that cross the decades and tell a story.
Janny
FREE CONCERT IN THE SPIRIT ROOM: Jan started playing trumpet the summer before 5th grade. He attended the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire to study music and business. He worked his way up to play in the Grammy Nominated Jazz Ensemble 1 at UW-Eau Claire and was lucky enough to share the stage with saxophonist Grace Kelly and the New York Voices in 2018. He currently serves part time in the 132nd Army National Guard Band, and is a Wedding DJ.
